[NUS Short film] Home 《家》 ｜ Short Film by NUS CNM
Description
When was the last time you told your family you loved them? Must love be seen to be felt? This story depicts a pair of sisters far from home who are struggling to make ends meet, and how it's never too late to tell a family member that you care. This short film was conceptualised by me, and I was honoured to be able to direct this film for a school project. A lot of times we easily resent the people closest to us and take them for granted because we think that they'll always be there, but I hope that this film teaches us to always appreciate the ones that love us unconditionally.

NM3230 W1 Group 1 One Minute Fiction Film: Eat 吃
Description
Is what you see in the mirror truly what you desire? Or are the demons in your mind clouding what's in front of you? This story depicts the horrors of eating disorders and how body dysmorphia is a serious issue faced by many people today. I had a lot of fun making this short film as an abstract way to tackle the heavy topic of body dysmorphia, and I hope to continue to use film and videos to tell the stories that are important in the world.

Description
Our Times, or Our Eeker Times? Based on the famous movie Our Times, I directed a short parody film for my hall's film screening starring some of my friends. This was my first try at directing videos and I'm very happy with the way it turned out. I hope this video provided some funny laughs and was fun to watch!

NM3230 W1 Group 1 One Minute Non Fiction Film: Sinful yet Halal
Description
Have you heard of something sinful yet halal? We interviewed Raimy, a young baker who specialises in baking macarons and find out what's the secret to his amazing creations that make it so popular among his customers. This was my first try at doing a non-fiction short film and I was glad to have the opportunity to shoot the amazing baked goods at Raimy's store.
